Disappointed and Frustrated-Beware of incorrect Order

I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase and will not be buying from this company again.
I ordered carbon charcoals filter with model number CF04 x 2 but instead, I received model number is CF123. x 2When I contacted customer service to explain their mistake, their initial response was dismissive. They told me the item was "similar to the picture" and "should work."
I immediately replied, pointing out that the size and model number were different, meaning it absolutely would not work for my needs. After further communication, they finally agreed to a refund. However, they informed me that I would have to pay for the return shipping myself!
This is completely unacceptable. It was their error in sending the wrong item, yet they expect me to bear the cost of returning it. This shows a lack of responsibility and very poor customer service. I'm incredibly unhappy with how this situation was handled.
