Door Rope & Spring Repair Set for Siemens Dishwasher

Brand new, replacement compatible door spring and rope cord repair set for Siemens dishwasher. It’s used to restore the smooth opening and closing of the dishwasher door by balancing its weight.

Fitting Instructions:
Switch off and unplug the dishwasher.
If integrated, remove the decorative door panel for easier access.
Access the Hinges
Remove the dishwasher’s side panels (usually secured with screws at the back and top).
This exposes the hinge mechanism, springs, and cords.
Remove Old Springs & Cords
Slightly open the dishwasher door.
Use pliers to grip and release the tension cord from the hinge lever.
Detach the spring and cord assembly from the holders.
Repeat on both sides.
Install New Kit
Hook the new cord into the hinge lever.
Attach the spring to the cord and secure it in the designated holder/bracket.
Ensure the cord runs smoothly over the guide pulleys without twists.
Repeat on the opposite side.
Check Balance & Tension
Open and close the door slowly.
The door should stay open at mid-position and not drop suddenly.
If the door feels too heavy/light, confirm you’ve used the correct kit (equiv. to 00754867 is for panels 2.5–8.5 kg).
Reassemble and Refit the side panels and decorative door.
