Not that easy to get over a large filter but do fit

The sizes given are accurate and the foam does stretch to fit the 160mm filter of an old Aquavac 3000, but it requires quite a bit of gentle easing all round to get it on. The fitted size completely covers the original filter as required and, being tight, is unlikely to slip, though I think any rinsing to remove dust will have to be done without taking it off. This shouldn't be a problem as the inner (original) filter is designed to withstand water.
