Thermostat Knob for Potterton Baxi Prima Profile Hot Water / Central Heating Boiler

Great knob at a great price. Like others have suggested it is a tight fit. I ended up putting a slight chamfer on the slotted hole with a craft knife. Seemed to help but a bit of pressure is required. All in all very happy with my purchase.

It replaced the original knob on a Potterton 50f. It is a tight fit,l onto the shaft of the thermostat, but when lined up precisely and pressure is applied the spring collet slips onto the shaft. The knob is doing the job adjusting the boiler output temperature.

As others have written, it’s a tight fit but be confident and give it a good push!

Ordered on the Wednesday and arrived on the Friday. Thank you for great service. I'm glad I read the reviews before fitting because others said it was a tight fit otherwise I might have thought it was a faulty/wrong part. My husband gently made the hole larger by using a small tool. Used a bit of vaseline (like others had suggested). It did take him a little while to do as he didnt want to damage the part or the other end on boiler and then hey presto, the part fitted like a glove.
